Referring to Colonial Office letter No. 31857/1917 of the 4th July, it is not clear to us whether the resignation of Miss E.K.Kelsey, as Nursing Sister, Hong Kong has been accepted from 9th October, 1917 ?
2. Miss Kelsey called at this office today, and drew her pay to 8th October, the end of her leave, but I gathered from her that the question is still under consideration- that is to say- she may be allowed to return to Hong Kong at the end of the War, in which case her resignation would not take effect.
